The 1000 system comprises of a high quality stainless steel filter housing, a top of the range 'Pearl' water filter cartridge, the Contemporary Mini tap and all fittings required for installation.

The unique 'Pearl' multi-stage water filter cartridge uses a combination of microporous ceramic and carbons to provide broad-spectrum water filtration performance against a wide range of potential waterborne contaminants; including harmful bacteria, parasites, cysts, herbicides & pesticides, unpleasant tastes and odours, chlorine and lead. Healthy elements such as magnesium and calcium are retained.

Q. How is the filter tap system installed? Will I need a plumber?

A. Installing the 1000 filter tap system is simple and straightforward. There is no need to cut pipework and simple push-fit connections make the procedure quick and easy. However, if you are not competent at DIY we recommend that you arrange for a qualified plumber to fit your system, or allow us to make the arrangements for you.

Q. How often will I need to replace the filter tap's cartridge?

A. We recommend that you change your filter tap's filter cartridge every 6 months..

Q. How much filtered water will one filter cartridge give me?

A. Typically 3000- 4000 litres, but this is by no means guaranteed and is dependent on the quality of the water and the amount used. For example, if your system contains higher than average levels of sediment, the water filter cartridge may need replacing sooner. This will be obvious as the water flow from the tap visibly slows.

Q. How much space does the filter tap system 's cartridge housing take up under the sink?

A. The filter cartridge and its housing is very compact - approximately 30cm high. It will fit neatly into a standard kitchen base unit and still leaves plenty of space!
